Tackling the Acculturation Process as a Two-Way Street for People of Haitian Descent and the Community at Large in Long Island, NY.

Since its founding in 1995, HAFALI Inc. (Haitian-American Family of Long Island) has served as a pillar of support for individuals and families of Haitian descent in the Long Island area. As the “epicenter” of the Haitian community, HAFALI plays a vital role in connecting Haitian families with essential resources.
HAFALI is dedicated to addressing the acculturation process as a two-way street, benefiting people of Haitian descent and the broader community. Thus HAFALI bridges the gap between Haitian immigrants and the wider population. Through collaboration and education, HAFALI strives to ensure that all individuals have the opportunity to thrive together.

Family Support Services

HAFALI provides guidance and counseling to Haitian families as they navigate various social, educational, and well-being challenges.
